    Romans - AS we serve Christ in these things - These things refer to verse these things are righteousness peace and joy in God the Holy Spirit. As we serve Christ in these things - a most thrilling and amazing promise becomes reality - WE are accepted / acceptable to God and approved by men . So to seek first God’s kingdom means to make it a priority every day to have your inner man flowing with righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Righteousness is not your own righteousness based on what you do. It is not good works. It is a gift from Jesus who is your righteousness (see Romans , 1 Corinthians ).

    Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. Whoever serves the Messiah in this way is acceptable to God and approved by men. Acceptable to God and approved by men: Serving God with a heart for His righteousness and peace and joy is the kind of service that is acceptable in His sight, and will be approved by men.
